Possible to obtain G2 Envy 15 in the UK?

Im currently wading through the 500 page owners thread, but I thought I might be able to get an immediate response here.

Im looking for the i5 model of the Envy 15 with the 5830 video card - doesnt seem to be available here in the UK unless I use an importer on ebay, which I am not sure I want to go ahead and do (mainly warranty concerns).

Anyone have any ideas or advice?

If I cant Im goiing to go with a Sony Vaio F with the i5 Processsor, but my preference at the moment is for the HP if I can get it.

I'm not sure if its possible for them to ship to the UK... but I live in Canada, and only the Gen 1 Envy 15's are available, so I bought one off of a Power Seller on Ebay (i5, 5830) and got it shipped to Canada.

warranty applies to all of north america.

See if power sellers will ship to UK.

im gonna do that as well but im waiting till next week to see if theyre doing a quiet upgrade to the 15. we can dream, right?
postage is expensive though.. its $95 to the uk and youre going to have to deal with import taxes. you can chat to their customer service and ask if theres a way to reduce it tho, theyre awesome.

oh and forgot to add - theyre an authorised reseller so the laptop will come with a fresh warranty. they say its international as well.

Thanks for the offer Andre - but I have actually decided to purchse the Sony Vaio F11.

Pretty disappointed with HPs support of the Envy models in the UK.
