Hey folks, im new here. so hi!

im currently trying to get a DV9000t specced up to 'roughly' $2300 US. (Roughly $2700 AUS)
Now to my dismay, HP doesnt ship to Australia.
so then i realised. DUH hp.com.au. uhuh, NO good old HP australia there best laptop is the dv8300 STARTING at $2999+postage+i would have to configure it up to Well over $3400.

so you see my problem. i have my heart set on the DV9000t, but i cant get it to aussieland through HP.
so i went and checked costco, with a link i found in another thread. exact same problem. no international shipping.

so are there any companies that WILL ship it to me? or will collect it then ship it to me? i really dont want to pay that kinda $$ for a lesser model.

Don't know of anyone that ships to Oz. Thought maybe HP Canada but it appears that they don't offer the 9000 there either. But anyway I would be kind of leary about buying a model not offered in your country. The warranty may not carry over and if something happens to it you might find yourself up a creek.

    Hmmm..

Don't know for sure but these people gave me pretty good service on a HP nx6325 RB526UT#ABA I ordered thru them about 2 weeks ago.
(New in the box, working just fine btw)

Details: HOT DEAL !!!! $500 after $100 HP mail in rebate. This unit being priced normally at $975 http://www.notebookforums.com/thread176205.html

I think "Ned" is the owner, They said they are a HP authorized dealer... so they should be able to get any HP I'd think.

As a SUGGESTION Dilerto.... If I was YOU, I'd look into the BUSINESS models of HP... there are some models which spec out VERY good, plus I would think that you'd has less "issues /hassles" about getting warranty service on a BUSINESS model....

And don't forget to save some money for Customs duty which will bring it up to what you would pay in OZ for the unit.
