Hello everyone, I am enjoying my dv6000t quite nicely, but I have one concern. The power button on the top left of the keyboard dosen't always seem to work, I have to randomly press it a random amount of times in order for the computer to turn on. Is there any specific method of pressing which will enable it to work?

Hmm, did you press and hold or press it rapidly?

I have the same problem. Seems like it works after it is warmed up. Have you found a fix for this issue yet?

I noticed myself that the power button is not as responsive as I like, which is why I swipe the Quickplay button to boot the machine instead (it is much faster). Note: I no longer have Quickplay installed, so the designated button merely acts as an alternate power switch.

could be a problem with the power circuit. I had a similar issue with my zv5160. I'd have to press it for 5 mins then it would come on. once it was on I had no problem at all with. They warranty repaired it.
