In the Hp notebook, most of the time battery backup is very poor especially HP pavilion series, we need an alternate for power consumption, while compare to others its too low

Would I be correct in saying that you're not that happy with the typical battery life of your HP laptop? Which model... that would help. Have you changed power profile and tweaked to set everything to maximum battery life? Set the max cpu to 5%? (Not bad when using a system with a dual core cpu). You can also tweak the services or the applications that start at startup. Please remember that battery life is based on what's running and once you add additional softwware you can't exactly put 'all' the blame of the machine. It will work and use the battery.

P.s. If you 'really' want the maximum battery life then maybe consider the Probook or Elitebook range along with the CC09 and BB09 battery. We're talking WAY over 16 hours of battery life. Weighs quite a bit though

yep, sounds like a great idea but the thing is most of time CPU consumes 5% of power, it doesn't make any poor performance for battery, i think the additional apps consumes more power thats only the reason may be! perhaps the notebook producer should be aware all of the defects, power consumption is a vital part in notebook, so you guys are did something innovative.
