So I have a weird question. Recently my HP Pavillion (Vista with AMD Turion) decided to not to respond to the power button. The only way it will turn on is with the remote that accompanied it. Even then though screen will turn. I can view it if connected to my tv via VGA cable.
Is this something that is known to happen with HP's and if so does anyone have any suggestions aside from buying a new computer or getting it repaired (which will probably cost more than the computer itself)?
