I have the Pavilion ze4610us. I am having issues with the power supply port. I have test my power supply cord and its working, the problem is the power connector on the laptop. The pin inside is lose which results in not letting the laptop recharge. Has anyone experienced this? I guess the only option is to send it in.

I had this issue and had to send it back to HP and get them to fix it.

I've heard of others having this very same issue on HP laptops. You're right, the best thing to do is send it in and tell them what is wrong...you could open up the laptop and play around yourself but that'd void the warranty and could make the situation worse.

I talked to some hard to understand foriegn guy. He said Fed Ex will be by tomorrow to get it. So do i package it up or does Fed EX bring me a package to use from HP? I had 23 days on warranty so i was cutting it close.

I am making backups just in case. But really they shouldnt have to mess with the HD any. Worse case is that they replace the MB if they cant fix the power connector itself. Whats the turnaround on getting the laptop back? thanks
