I have successfully installed XP using the instructions and drivers posted and I am very happy with the performance. The only issue I have is the screen with I pull the power cord and it goes dim.

I want to be able to set the power option so that the screen does NOT dim when I unplug the power. How can I set this option under XP? are there drivers and software for this?

    Thanks,

Increase the brightness when on battery mode and then connect the power again. Windows should remember the setting for the next time you want to run off battery and remain bright.

If you look on the numbers at the top of the keyboard one number will have a dimming looking picture and one will have a brightening looking picture. Unplug the AC adapter and hold the function key down and hit the brightening button and your screen will stay bright even when you unplug the AC adapter.
