I have a Compaq Presario 2110US and on the bottom of the unit there is a panel and place for a mini pci wireless card. I would like to know if it is possible to add such a card? Wireless options are listed in the system BIOS setup and there is a light on the front of the laptop for identifing when the wireless card is active. Can anyone point me in the right direction or post more information on the issue. If it is a possibility what card can be used?

Thank you for any and all help,
    Dave

If the notebook doesn't already have a wireless adapter, then it is unlikely that the notebook will have an aerial alrady mounted. if that is the case, then all you have to do is find a sutible wireless adapter, and install it, and then install the drivers for the adapter.

If the notebook doesn't have an aerial, then installing one is made more difficult. if you install it without the aerial, then its likely that you will have no aerial. In that case, a better option may be to simply use a USB adapter.
