I have an HP Compaq Presario 6735s-KS115UT on the way and want to upgrade it from 1 GB to 2 GB but cannot find what type of memory I need.

The description said "DDR2 SDRAM 1 DIMM"

Should I use the same brand when upgrading RAM or can I leave the one that comes in it?

It should use 200pin DDR2 800 memory. Brand doesnt matter as long as its the same type of memory(DDR, DDR2, DDR3) & format(200 pin) as the one in the notebook which should be 200pin DDR2.
