    Presario 900/White screen

    I have a Presario 900 and when I turn it on the screen slowly fades to white from a black screen and I cannot see anything on the screen. Is this the monitor or video card going out, maybe a faulty wire to the monitor?

    Could be either. But it's probably going to cost more to repair than the value of the machine.
