    Hi guys, I have a Compaq Presario F500 with an AMD Turion64 2Ghz running Vista basic.
    Can anyony tell me what the maximum RAM it can take.

    Probably 2GB. You can try more, but buy it somewhere it's easily returnable. Also you'll need a 64 bit OS Linux, Vista or XP to see more than 3GB of memory.

    The maximum amount of RAM that the computer supports is indeed 2GB. I used to have a Presario F500 series myself and I became very familiar with the specs and capabilities of the system. When you buy RAM for the computer, make sure that you get PC-4200 DDR2. That is the type of RAM that this system uses.

    Thanks Guys, I currently only have 1.5 Gig, I will look at upgrading shortly.
    Now I have a problem that just popped up on Thursday night.
    My wireless just stopped working, when I go and trouble shoot it just say's I have no wireless device installed (I checked to see if it was switched on, it was)
    Any Hints???
