I have a F500 here that no longer boots. It would have fallen under the warranty/recall had the issue been known about but.. This laptop was sent in within a year after purchase and already has a different motherboard than the purchased machine.

My issue with it right now is that it simply will not get beyond POST if it's even getting that far. Only 2 signs of life are noticeable.
    1. LEDs all light up
    2. DVD-Rom drive makes a noise as it's polled

At which point there is nothing being displayed on the LCD or through the VGA port. It sits for approximately 20 seconds then does the whole dance all over.

    I have tried:
    1. Pulling out the drives/wireless card.
    2. Swapping known good RAM into it.
    3. Booting with only, and without the battery.
    4. Booting without anything except the CPU attached to the board
    5. Swapped motherboards(though condition unknown)

Thank you for any and all help.
