    Could someone with the laptop listed above tell me if the POWER ON led supposed to light up when plugin/charging? My assumption is no, but I could be wrong.

    If my assumption is correct, why would the power led on? Short circuit somewhere? Press the power button, nothing happens.

    Update! While plugged in, 2 USB port on the left felt warm. I wonder if that's where the problem is, the shorts.
