    Does anyone know what the serial number is for the presario R3000 hard drive?

    every serial number will be different, they are unique to each and every single device.

    If you open the cover you should be able to see the numbers...brand, capacity, etc, printed on it without removing it - you're probably looking for the model number, not serial number, right?

    Yup model number. A hard drive recovery company lost it after allegedly conducting an attempt at a stage 3 recovery (for 80 bucks). I want to give them a fair chance to find it before I sue them.

    as a FYI those part numbers are the HP part number... not ALL HP computers will have the HP part number sticker on the hard drive.
