    Presario R3363 - How do i get the keyboard up?

    How do you get the keyboard up on the R3363?

    I've supported Compaq laptops for ages at work and they've been very simple, but this one - I can't work it out!!!!!

    There are four screws along the bottom back edge of the notebook. Remove them (only 3 are relevant, but I never remember which 3). Carefully remove the plastic bezel above the keyboard (you'll probably want to open the screen all the way for this). You'll see the four screws securing the keyboard and can take it from there.

    That's how it works on the HP zv5000 series. I'm reasonably certain Compaq's equivalent R3000 series works the same way.
