Just noticed that HP had queitly raised the price of the dual core 2 7200 chip by 150$ this week! last week that option was for $225, now its $370. They havent changed it on the 9000t though! Wonder why?

my guess would have to be the market right now, as we know the T7200 seems to be the "sweet spot" by having 4MB cache so maybe they picked up on that and figured people wouldn't care about the price of the upgrade...

they will eventually increase the price for the dv9000 too the T7200 chips are having too many orders and maybe theres more demand and less stock
