Hi all, I was curious as to what you all thought would be a decent price to sell an HP Pavilion dv9000t in mint condition for. I was thinking $800.00

    When did you buy it?

    What condition is it in?

Any other software included? (ie did you add M$ Office, XP etc (be sure to include the license for it too)).

Any other hardware included? (ie external USB mouse, tv tuner etc).

    Got pictures?

What are the spec's on the laptop?

    Intel or AMD?

Really we need more info in order to tell you exactly what would be a fair market price. If its a stripped down dv9500 then no $800 may not be a good price, cant say either way without more info.

Just my 2cents.... I sold a dv8000 for $650 on ebay last month. So I think you should be good as long as you don't have a barebones model

It has a 7200 rpm 80 GB hard drive, 1.83 GHz intel core 2 duo processor, 2 Gig's ram. Vista home premium edition. All original packaging, remote control. Total usage is no more than 10 hours. MINT condition. Never left the desk of my studio. The reason why I need a new laptop is because the firewire chipset in it is a ricoh, and I need a TI firewire chipset for my external soundcard.

I also made the recovery disks for it as well.

In that case.... $800 will probably be a stretch IMHO.

Mine was: DV8140US, with a 2.2 Ghz Processor, 2 Gigs of RAM, Dual 100gb Hard Drives

The best way to figure this out is to go to ebay and search for "Completed Listings". You need to sign in to your ebay account to see the results, but it will show you all of the sales that have completed recently and at what price. Just make sure to compare systems that are similar to yours.

Hey thanks orev. I appreciate it, never noticed the competed listing feature on Ebay.
