    Hey Guy´s

    I have a question.
My HDD crashed on my DV7, now i need a new one. It will be the Western Digital Scorpio Blue WD10JPVT. So, my old HDD is a Toshiba MK1059GSM -> 12,5mm. The new one is 9,5mm height.
Can i change the HDD´s without problems or do i need something like a case?
Would be great if someone has experience with this.

    Greetz

ps. sorry for my bad english :)

I don't see how you could run into any problems with the thinner hard drive, swap it out and install Windows/restore a backup :)

Should be fine, screw it into the hard drive caddy the old one came out of and put the new one in.
