Please help me how to use Prime95 to test the stability of my V2000 ML-30 notebook after undervolting by using RMClock!!
After installed Prime95, I select the Options menu, and then select the Torture Test, and I'm confusing to use Small FFTs, In-Place Large FFTs or Blend to run ?

    Thanks you

    Small FFTs is fine.

I usually just run it for 1-2hrs to save time on each multiplier setting. If you have a lot of time, you can run it for as long as you want.

If you are ever doing prime95 on a laptop, get the thing elevated with lots of airflow underneath. Also, Large FFT's always seems to push a weak system over the edge if something is setup wrong. If something is wrong, it will error out very fast. Small FFT's can go on for a long time w/o any problems.

    Thanks for help.

One more question:- Do I need to set "Always On" under the Windows XP Power Management before running Prime95 ?

Nope. not necessary. If you are using RM Clock it will increase the clock speed to its max(or whatever you have set the max multiplier to be) when running Prime95.
