ProBook 650 G2 has a DisplayPort but how high of a resolution does its internal video card support?
I want to get a 27" 2560x1440 monitor, will it support that or am I limited to 1920x1080 monitors?
-
I believe the answer is yes, it will work, but I am not 100% certain.
Google search "ProBook 650 G2 2560x1440"
Also, go to HP's website and read documentation for your laptop/notebook.
My HP Pavilion 15t has a 1920x1080 display, but I use a 2560x1080 external monitor over HDMI 2.0
I have no problems on the desktop (intel grapihcs) and no problems in games (nvidia graphics).
I have no problems at all with my external monitor. -
Did both of the above, no positive searches came up. It does not have a dedicated video card.
I want to get a Dell Ultrasharp that in 2560x1440 that's 27" but I think I could live with an Ultrasharp 1920x1080 in the 24" format.
Both are light years head of the TN panel that's used in the laptop. -

To make it perfectly clear, ProBook 650 G2 does not have an HDMI port. Just DisplayPort. -
I connected NEC Multisync PA271W, it is a 27" device with the 2560x1440 configuration, what I wanted.
Via the DisplayPort, it works nicely.
ProBook 650 G2 - which external monitor does it support?
