    Problem accessing Sata enclosure HDD

    It's kind of weird that I still can access to my SATA enclosure HDD but not with the double click on the HDD in MY COMPUTER; it has to be either I use explorer or I type "G:" and hit ENTER in the address line.
    I've just got it back from my friend because he needed to back up something to refresh XP.
    Anyway idea what is happening?

    restart windows.Clear history.This kind of stuff.XP does many of these funny things.

    It does not help, even after I've made a fresh reinstallation of XP, the enclosure drive is still inaccessible with double click, only login with the address bar of windows explorer.
