This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I got a Compaq Presario R3000Z a couple of months ago without the internal wireless option, but now i want to add the internal wireless. I bought an HP/Compaq Broadcom wireless card and installed in the laptop with antenna. After I installed the driver, the wireless card says there is no connection and when I go into configuration->advanced, there is no WEP option. Can anyone please help me get this wireless card to work? Thanks.
