Hi, I have an HP Pavilion dv2000t. Windows XP Professional SP3, 1 GB RAM, Core Duo 1.73.

Every time I try to burn some avi files to a DVD+R disc, I get a "Power Calibration" error. I use Nero 8 and have a SONY DVD RW DW-G520A. I have no problems reading/writing CDs and have no problems reading DVDs, either. HP Online diagnostic tools tells me that there is nothing wrong with my optical drive.

I have done some researching that tells me to disable the IMAPI CD-Burning COM Service, but it doesn't solve my problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Its Nero itself, try reinstalling then updating to the latest patch.
