Problem of my HP Compaq nc6400 !!!

I bought it in October 2006. At first, I use it to play 3D games. And it always hang in the game. I thought it was too hot but later I found that I was wrong!

Even it is in winnter, it always hang even I am not playing 3D games. It hang when I just use FireFox to browse some website. The Windows Blue Screen Error appears so often.

It appears two times per day! I even can't save my work!

I tried several times to recovery the system by using the recovery CD. But it doesn't WORK!

I did install latest BIOS, drivers and updates from HP and Microsoft. The problem still remain.

I am very disappointed with HP now.

The following is the error from Windows:

I suppose it crashes both in Windows XP and Vista? The error message isn't very helpful. There may be a hardware fault since a complete OS reinstall didn't fix it (was it a clean install?).

I have no such problems with my nc6400 under any operating system and under intense usage, so it is not a common problem at all.

You waited for over 6 months with a problem and didnt bother to check temperatures while gaming etc to see if that is the issue? thats not good! you should have bought a notebook cooler or something so u can disprove that. contact HP and have your laptop returned for repairs....its all u can do really
