    Problem to Buy Compaq!!!!!!!

    I want to buy a customized version of the compaq v2000z but i have a limited budget and its more expensive here in the UK than in the US.

    So is it possible to order it from the US and then ship it to the UK????

    HP(USA) does not ship to anywhere outside the US. So no you cannot directly buy a customized model from HP.com. There aare indirect ways to get it, but you will need to know someone who either resides in the US and is willing to buy and ship it to you or you can see if there are any sellers on Ebay who are willing to ship it to the UK.

    well to be honest i dont think they sell the v2000 in the Uk but a similar spec laptop from HP Uk will cost £700 but the laptop from US will cost £492 without shipping so there is a huge difference.

    Are there any companies that can deliver it to me indirectly????? Does any1 have any information on such companies???

    There isn't a company that will do it for you to my knowledge. You'd have to know and trust someone in the US to buy the laptop and have it shipped to them. You'd have to give them the money up-front or pay them back in the end. Have them ship the laptop to you once it's delivered. And more than likely you will also need to cover shipping charges.

    Or just wait and save up to get what you want.

    Porbably not. Even if they do, you"ll probably have to pay shipping to the US for the laptop to be repaired under warranty. HP UK wont accept the warranty on a model sold in the US.
