Hi, I have a HP 6530 business notebook...I put the notebook into hibernation before sleeping and in the morning when i tried to switch it on, only the "HP INVENT" main screen loaded and it seems to be stuck on tht screen without loading further.
on pressing the power button it switches off and on pressing it again(trying to switch it on) the same thing happens....wat cud be the problem?

Most likely your harddrive is dead or loose/disconnected. Another issue might be the Ram is messed up. Some BIOS's hang when they encounter a bad ram or missing harddrive.

Are you able to go into the BIOS from the HP Invent screen?
