Sorry I'm sort of new to this forum so I don't even know if this is a good place to get help or not. But recently I have been having a problem with my laptop, I think it may be a virus but it is not being caught by the McAfee virus scan. So there are two issues: The first is whenever I try to download and install a program or update it tells me a part was not downloaded, forcing me to stop the installing process. The other problem is when I open my "Downloads" folder is message appears "COM Surrogate has stopped working" and when I close it it pops up again and does that about 6 times. Can anyone out there help me troubleshoot or point me somewhere where I can be helped?
