So The realtek high definition drivers aren't really working with my system. When i have them installed, i don't get any sound, so i rolled back the drivers, and now they work... but

When I have the speakers set on default, if i plug in a headphone, the sound does not transfer over to the headphone, but instead, they still play on the speakers. If i set the headphones to default, the opposite happens.

Also, my microphone is working, because I go to the sound recording option in accessories, but the sound is waaaaayyy to quiet. i can barely hear myself when i was almost screaming into the microphone.

    what's wrong?

Im guessing volume control settings and options. Try rolling back to your default drivers that came with the computer first
