    I have a HP Pavilion DV2000.

I think Touchpad button worn out!!

When I click on left button (touch pad) on the laptop, it is not responding but I have to press it quite hard then it will response. it is really annoying.. What is the solution to fix this?

Right button response fast just a gentle click on the touch pad.

Maybe somebody changed the sensitivity of your touchpad? You can change it in the settings by opening whatever software it is that you're using for your touchpad.
