    Hi, all,

I need help with a software problem. I did an Easy Transfer of some of my files and settings from my XP Pro Vaio to my new HP tx2000. Now, I can't open any of the MS Office programs. The message tells me the following: "The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log for more detail." Another message that appears when I tried to repair and/or uninstall the software is: "Error 2330. Setup cannot get attributes for file C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\AcessWeb. Verify that the file exists in your system and that you have sufficient permissions to update it."

Is there any way to resolve this issue without using Recovery?

    Thanks!

    Mari
