I brought my dv5t thats in my sig to the library. However, I cant connect to their public wifi. I use wifi at home and it works fine.

In the library, my laptop can recognize the wifi and the signal is strong. However, when I try to connect, a problem comes up saying that the network isnt responding. Other people have no problem connecting to it, and the signal is good. I can't figure out the problem to this. I have tried turning my wifi on and off and have tweaked all network settings. Still no luck.

Can you connect to anything else besides your home wifi?
The problem is definitely something with your security settings. The antivirus/firewall is a potential culprit
