Whenever I play HD videos in youtube, they lag a lot on my dv5t. The lagging is even more obvious when it's full screen. I noticed that everytime I play a HD video from youtube, my CPU usage shoots up to more than 90%. Does anyone else have this problem?
My brand new dv5t has a 526 MB GPU, 2.4GHz CPU and 3 gig of RAM. I do have quite a slow internet connection though. But I let the video load completely every time before I play it, I don't see the internet connection is the reason for my problem. And why such high CPU usage?

Yeah, I just updated my BIOS and my NVIDIA driver. The problem still persists. Has anyone else tried HD youtube video on his dv5t? Is there a similar problem? due to youtube? Or is it my computer's problem?

OK, I just figured out the problem. It turned out I was in power saver mode. After switching back to high performance mode, everything runs smoothly. The difference between the modes is simply night and day.

You can run on any mode you wish with battery or AC power, you click the power icon on the taskbar on the bottom right and select the mode you want to use.

Power Saver mode limits the computers performance, not just when idle, but always no matter what you do.
