Yesterday I called HP to get a price for a customised ZT3000. After applying the APP discount which chopped off about $100, and the mail in rebate of $50, I asked about the $25 off coupon for purchases over $250. I was informed that the APP cannot be combined with other discounts. Has anyone else had this problem, or successfully combined discounts?
Thanks,
Ross

I believe that people that have been ordering online have had success doing this...so when you meet a roadblock on one path, try another (aka, try buying online). worth a try!

So trying to finally purchase zt3000 today. but new 10% coupon cannot be combined with APP, so its cheaper to buy without the APP, which is frustrating given i hate wasting student advantages.
Why do I keep hearing of other people who have combined coupons and the APP when I cant seem to do it online, or over the phone with HP?

When I ordered (via phone with HP), I was able to use the APP and $100 coupon that was offered at the time. I did not try online ordering because my computer was having problems with HP's site that night. The sales rep had trouble entering it the first time, but got it to go the second time he tried.
I have read in other forums that the 10% off coupon can not be used with APP. I am not completely sure why you can not use the $25 one. Others have been able to use the $10 off of $250 when it was offered and they had APP too.
Some are finding it cheaper to order with the 10% coupon instead of APP (which for most students is 6%). -
When I ordered I tried the 25$ coupon with APP and 30$ rebate, but it wouldn't work, but for some reason, the 10$ coupon did. It might vary depending on which model and whether it's a HP or Compaq. I guess I'm grateful for any discount, since even without them, the price was still better than out of a big box store, even including warranty.
