    I am trying to play a HD DVD on my Pavillion dv9650us for the first time since I purchased it. Upon entering the DVD I was prompted to activate my player, I clicked yes and the system began installing Quickplay update 3.6. However the instashield wizard stopped installing the update at 80% and then the program stopped responding. I have tried this several times and keep getting the same result. When I put a HD disc into the drive the Quickplay demo comes on for a few minutes and then the program just closes down. I've updated the Nvidia drivers and the firmware for the TS-L802A Optical Drive also.

    Any tips on how to resolve this would be massively appreciated as I'm out of ideas myself.
