It's not reading anything I insert in the drive. Autoplay isn't working, and I ran the Autoplay repair wizard and got this.

I talked to an hp rep online and she gave me about 5 steps of fixing this process. I did all of them and still it won't work.
I have tried about 15 different cds and dvds and none of them are being read by the drive. -
Crap. i got it to work, now it sucks again,.
My CD drive closes, but it won't close all the way for some reason.
I'm looking at my sister's dv5000t and it's all the way in. Mine has it slightly sticking out. -
Heyyo, so I have the same problem with my new dv9000t, and got the same result upon running the autoplay wizard.
I reformatted the computer, and that was the beginning of the problem. My drive reads data discs and originals, but not burned discs with autoplay. Do you have this SAME problem, or is it a little different?
I think it's a driver problem, upon a fresh install of windows (before I loaded and drivers at all) I popped my oblivion disc in and it ran just fine, so I installed it and was all smiles. Then after i got the system back up to specs with drivers, anti-virus and whatnot, I find the problem is back! Did you get this resolved yet? Even though it sounds like there's something physically wrong now...
