Hope someone here can shed some light. I've played around with 3 cellphones Samsung a900, Motorola E815 and Motokrzr K1m with bluetooth and can't seem to get them to connect. Oops I forgot to list that I've got a HP Pavilion dv9700t running Vista ultimate. I've done the sp38167 update from hp site.

My problem is that I can pair the phone with the laptop noproblem. At the end after it successfully finishes. It finds that it has "Found New Hardware" and states that "Windows needs to install driver software for your Bluetooth Periperal Device" Tried locating the drivers to the disc and to the Motorola v5 disc. It says still can't find. In the Device manager it has ! for 3 bluetooth peripheral device.

Lets hope someone has come across this cuz it's driving me nuts. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the info. But that didn't help and btw I did have those drivers from the supplier's site. After searching and reading I stumbled on this site http://www.vista4beginners.com/How-to-setup-a-Bluetooth-connection?page=1 I went to basics. Half down the article says when windows needs to install driver software for your bluetooth peripheral device; it's actually asking the drivers for the laptop bluetooth device and not the phones. So I told it was in c:/swsetup and it found it.
