I'm using HP Pavilion dv 1000t running windows xp. The system was getting slow, so I decided to reformat it. First I tried with recovery partition, by pressing "F11" at boot, it reinstalled windows but under "Start' -> "Programs" it was showing programs that I installed alongwith HP's default bloatware, like Office 2007, but I wasn't able to open it because probably windows removed it during recovery but was still showing the entries. So, I decided to use the recovery discs to reformat. Whille using the first disc, it gave me an error as: "recovery export cannot copy file BASE_04.INP" and it asked me to remove the dvd and clean it, even after cleaning, it couldn't copy the file, so I click "ignore" then it gave me similar error for other files, so I clicked "ignore" again, then it asked me to insert disc-2 and click "Ok", which I did, but when I click "Ok" nothing happens, it doesn't proceed further.
I also tried making a copy the disc, but it gave the same error, and now I cannot even use "F11" option. Could anyone plz suggest me what to do. I had used the discs a year ago, and worked that time, but I don't know whats wrong this time.
plz any help would be aprreciated.
    Thanks.
