In my device manager, under computer I see "ACPI x64-based PC".

This makes me think that I probably have not installed all of the drivers that I should have.... I did do a reformat.

Can someone else check to see what theirs says? I have a i7-2630 for the record.

Checked my both desktops that were currently on, they both have same ACPI x64-based PC listed.

One is triple-core AMD and the other is C2D Intel.

Check under Processors, the correct type should be listed there, at least I have :)
