    Hello iam interested in purchasing a DV7 soon and just wanted to ask a question on which processor is better or runs faster without useing crazy battery. I'am a meteorologist and need to run java animation loops and have multiple pages on the web at times open. Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.

    Here are the processors i like from HP but not sure which one to add to my config.

    1-Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-580M Dual Core Processor (2.66GHz, 3MB L3 Cache) with Turbo Boost up to 3.33GHz

    2-Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-720QM Quad Core processor (1.6GHz, 6MB L3 Cache) with Turbo Boost up to 2.8 GHz

    3-Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-740QM Quad Core processor (1.73GHz, 6MB L3 Cache) w/Turbo Boost up to 2.93 GHz
