    Hey there,

I have just purchased my first Vista Business Laptop.

I find it increasingly frustrating when working on some of the office programs, especially excel, as there is a delay in the execution of the work. It can take up to 5 - 10 secs before the command is executed.

The program is saying that it is NOT RESPONDING! and then it wakes up and the task is complete.

    Anyone else experiencing this problem?

Try updating vista and office through windows update, Vista is also still pretty buggy

You should also make sure that your system is capable enough to run vista well enough. You should have at least 1GB of RAM on your machine, but for multi-tasking personally I recommend 2 GB.

I purchased my laptop for school & work. I run Autocad 2006 and Autodesk Revit Structures 4. Both are not compatible w/ Vista. I had to right-click on the program icon to change their properties to be compatible w/ XP sp2. Also when I open them I open them as an administraitor. If I forget to do that last step they will start but they crash and say that the program is not responding.
