Hi guys I posted a couple weeks back in the what laptop should I get, well this is my first laptop I got the HP Dv6 Quad. While I've had it for about 4 days now I love it, but what I don't love is the 2 dead pixels (black) on my screen, this kills me because this is my first laptop ever *sigh* I cringe to part with it but I can't get over the screen. I wanted to know because I have no experience in returning anything with such a big purchase. If anyone could help me in what I should do to get a proper and prompt refund so I can look into buying another laptop. Thank you guys.

HP Home & Home Office Store - Home & Home Office Store Customer service

Go to "Live Assistance", click chat with a customer service agent and tell them you want to set up a return. They will email you a prepaid shipping label. Sometimes they try and talk you into sending it in for repair or exchanging it but that takes longer than returning and waiting for your money back and getting a new one.

HP's return policy is one of the best. Up to 21 days after delivery, no questions asked, no restocking fee and they pay return shipping.
