Is there any sort of skin like Zagg that is available for the dv6t QE edidion?

Im really sick of finger prints and im scared of scratching it so if any of you have suggestions, id love to hear them.

    Thanks

I know there are stores on eBay that sell model-specific protectors for the screen. Never seen anything else to protect the shell itself. I mean - the dv6 is a great-looking notebook PC. I can't imagine wanting to not show it off.

You want to protect it, then you just simply need to adjust, IMO, your personal behaviour with it. For me... I use a very well padded and size-specific, notebook case to reduce shock and travel movement. When mobile, I only set my dv6 first on a laptop pad before placing on hard surfaces. If in my lap, then I make certain that there are no other metal objects (ie belt buckles, key chains...) that could scratch it. At home, I always set my dv6 on a notebook docking stand. Use a screen protector and approved lint-free cloths and cleansers. You just have to alter your attitude towards taking personal steps in taking care of it, IMO. Paying attention to what you are doing with it is the best protection.

I suppose you could locate a type of clear plastic "cling" that you could use on the either side of the palmrest to reduce fingerprint smudges. But what's the point? Either the palmrest is going to have fingerprints or your going to have unflattering protective coverings (even if they look good at first, they are going to look like crap shortly thereafter) that are all marked up.

I'd gladly spend like 50$ on some kind of skin for the shell of the laptop from a site like zagg

You must have the dark umber color. That is a fingerprint magnet. I'm so glad when I returned my dv6tqe I got the steel grey. The only fingerprints that show up on that are on the trackpad.

I'd like it mostly to protect it from scratches since I've already scratched it twice :(

can't really notice them but I know :(
