You should have answered the customer service survey. They give you a 10% off code :)

This is not only my first notebook but, my first AMD processor. Should be interesting. This integrated graphics solution seems to get some good reviews. I don't game so, really, i just wanted to run Vista properly at some point. That's my thinking now anyway.. Hopefully i can hold out. It's quite a ways away from getting to me...unless they surprise me and it comes early.. I need a good router too. Any suggestions? I have Comcast high speed internet (if it matters). I don't want any drops if i can help it. The modem is in my basement theater room. I'll be on the main floor of my house and on the second story too. Do i need something with "Mimmo" technology?

hey chase, i just ordered myself a DV2000z tonight, so i share your anticipation! In fact, i think we got the same exact specs, only i purchased the 12 cell battery. i currently use a netgear 108G router in my home. I have my router in the basement and my desktop in the 3rd floor of my house and it works great. I would highly suggest netgear. Good luck holding your sanity while waiting for your notebook!

Thanks. I'm pretty sure we won't wait until the 11th hour.. its all about managing customer expectations. I do it my business too. I sell audio & video for Tweeter (HDTV & Surround Sound). I do as much damage control before the sale is final as i can. IE: when's installation going to happen, delivery, yadda yadda..

yeah, thats what we train our employees to do as well. I would still be suprised if we got it by the 16th. I owuld be curious to know actually how back ordered they are, considering we ordered so quickly after launch.
