    Just out of curiousity, can you buy the HD-DVD drive after the fact? I just got my dv6500t and may want to go that route one day.

    Does it need to be internal? Surely, external HD-DVD drives will be available soon.

    There actually is one already. The 360 HD-DVD player. I heard there's some...ways to get it connected to your computer...and use it.

    ~160 bucks sounds good.

    it is about $700 from eurocom to buy an internal HD DVD drive.through one of their laptops it is only $500 though. i think hp's is a little bit cheaper maybe? look on ebay though

    i was looking at this option as well, as long as i get a WUXGA screen to get the full potential. since i have an hd dvd player at home and have a large colleciton of hd dvds i thinki it is a nice option to have. also the blu ray drive for laptops it atleast $1000, and $1400 though eurocom
