Just opened the box and I see it has a remote control for playing CD and DVD's. I can't find anything that tells how to use it but the remote has a battery to install. I'll be darned if I knoiw which way to put the battery in. I removed the cover on the back but the battery is round and both sides are similar. One side has print on it the other is just an embossed surface. Do you know which side goes down toward the contact? There is a CD on Quick Play but doesn't mention the Remote.

Great! The fastest reply I ever had. At least I know that when using sod on my lawn, the green side goes up.

Just wanted to mention that in addition to controlling music and movie playback, it can also control Powerpoint presentations, real handy for me.

with my dv400 which also came with a remote I just looked at the connectors on the remote and then the battery to figure out how to put it in. The remote is pretty cool.
