    Putting a CD burner in for dv7t?

    The normal dv7t, not the quad edition. It doesn't come with an option for a cd burner/blu ray player which sucks. Anyway I can put one in myself down the road?

    Bluray I could care less about, but the CD burner would be great for backup/music blah blah blah

    You should be able to replace the internal ODD. Or you can just get an external one.

    The "SuperMulti 8X DVD+/-R/RW with Double Layer Support " is a CD burner as well? Just thought it wasn't because on the other models, the next choice would be bluray/cd burner so thought they would explicitly say it if it was included.

    Usually now it is standard to have a cd burner. From what I've seen. Almost all are standard.
