hey guys, i was just wondering if they have tried out the geforce go 7200 in the dv6000z's and have also tried a 6150? i know that this is somewhat of a stretch but i have been really curious about their performances because i can't seem to find much information about the 7200. although, i hear that the go 7300 is decent, i am unsure of its advantages over the 7200.

i plan on playing games like HL2, CS:S, and ragnarok and am keeping my fingers crossed hoping that the 7200 will be able to play these games on medium settings!! (i think 30 fps is hard to play on too...)

    Nvidia 7200

For what you want to play decent consider as you said a 7300 or even better a 7400.

AFAIK the 7200 is a stripped down 7300/7400 that is clocked lower and has no dedicated memory.

The 7200 hands down. The Go6150 scores around 600 in 3DMark05 whereas the Go7200 averages around 1500. Having said that the 7200 is still a low end card and dont expect blistering framerates or gaming performance.

It dis have is own memory. But it is usually quite small - 32/64MB.

the go 6150 plays ragnarok online fine at highest res my laptop has - since it's wide screen the ohter ones are all streched feeling...

i would not worry about rag since my old 64mb video card can run it fine.
