Is it ok if you install drivers over existing ones? I installed the 11.5b drivers over the stock drivers (desktop version on accident) then the new 11.6 mobility drivers over that, without uninstalling any of the previous ones. Could any problems arise from doing this (do you need to uninstall old drivers first?), or should the AMD install manager take care of the old files itself?

you want the old files, other wise switchable graphics don't work. the recommended path is:
    stock>windows update version>11.5b
11.6 is working well for some, not so well for others

I actually completely uninstalled the 6770m drivers at one point and reinstalled them and still kept the automatic switchable graphics feature.
