    Hello,

the HP Docking Station, HP Advanced Docking Station and HP 3-in-1 NAS all have a dual-link DVI out.
But I've read that only the 8710w/p and 8510w/p support this dual-link DVI connector, e. g. you cannot use dual-link DVI when you dock a nw9440 to one of the above docking stations.

    Can somebody confirm this?

No, the nw9440 does not have a HDMI connector.
    Why is this technically important?

The difference is if the GPU supports dual-link DVI out. Look up the GPU specs for the 9440 to know for sure.

It's hard to find Specs for the NVIDIA Quadro FX1500M.
NVIDIA just informs about the new GPUs on its website.

I found this pdf file. The Mobile GPUs are listed, but i only says something about dual-link regarding the workstation GPUs if I read it correctly.

I am using a 8510w with advance dock. However for performance and the ability to run dual 24" monitors I bought a Matrox DualHead2Go system which works pretty nicely. May be worth looking into...
