    Hello

I bought 3 months ago an hp dv6000 series.

it has 3gb of ram, one 1 gb module and one 2 gb module, and i'm running windows vista home premium 32 bit

For enabling dual channel, i will need to buy another 2 gb stick, and put it into the pc... i understand that, and it has to be the same frecuency as the one already installed.

    my questions are

1... does the new stick needs to be the same brand as the one already installed?

2... If i put another 2gb stick..... having 4 gb and vista 32 bit (even though it will only recognize 3.5 gb), dual channel will still be enabled???

3... It is worth going to vista 64 bit, for taking advance of all 4gb of ram???

4... I know that the nvidia 7150m is not a capable graphics card, but i just play trackmania nations and not very often.... with the dual channel will i see some improvement in performance for the IGP???

    thanks

    1) No

    2) Yes

    3) Yes, if all your software is compatible and you dont mind doing a clean install

    4) Little to none....
